Crime alters views on gun control
It would be interesting to know how many of those so vehemently opposed to gun ownership have themselves been a victim of crime?
Not a relative, someone they know, just themselves? The shoe is on the other foot when you, personally, are a victim.
My home was invaded, computers, jewelry (my mom's wedding ring, my dad's gold pocket watch hurt the most) gone in just the one hour I was gone in the middle of the day.
It seems they heard me open the garage door and fled before I went in the house. I didn't go right in as my cell phone rang and I just sat in the car for a few minutes.
I'm told that had I caught the slime balls in the act, they probably would have harmed me.
At 125 pounds, it's doubtful I could have defended myself. So you know what? Anyone else breaks into my home is gonna leave, dead or alive, with some holes in his body. I have a right to protect myself and I will use it.
