Book on stuttering available at library
The 72-page book, "Do You Stutter: A Guide for Teens," is available at the Arlington Heights Memorial Library. It is being distributed free of charge to public libraries nationwide by the Stuttering Foundation of America.

Prairie Brass Band set to perform
The Arlington Heights Community Concert Association, in partnership with District 214 Community Education, will sponsor a performance by the Prairie Brass Band with British whistler, David Morris, at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Forest View Educational Center Theater, 2121 S. Goebbert Road, Arlington Heights.
Tickets are $20 for adults; children in grades K through 12 are free when accompanied by an adult. Individual tickets are available at the door, or through District 214 by calling (847) 718-7702.
Hersey presents 'Superstar' musical
John Hersey High School proudly presents its spring musical, "Jesus Christ Superstar," in the school theater at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and 2 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the school, 1900 E. Thomas, Arlington Heights. The musical largely follows the accounts of the last weeks of Jesus' life, beginning with Jesus and his followers arriving in Jerusalem and ending with the crucifixion.
The production features junior Michael Walker in the role of Jesus, junior Beau Reddington as Judas Iscariot, and WGN's Chicago Idol winner and Hersey senior, Maggie Dewar, as Mary Magdalene. Tickets are $10. Call (847) 718-4882.
