Five dead in South Side home

Chicago police say there were "multiple fatalities" inside a residence on the city's South Side.

The Cook County coroner's office confirmed to ABC 7 that five people were found dead.

Police spokeswoman Officer JoAnn Taylor says she can't say exactly how many people are dead in the residence in the 7600 block of S. Rhodes Avenue. She also can't address how they died.

The Cook County medical examiner's office confirms there are multiple people dead.

The incident was reported about 3:45 p.m. Wednesday.
