Have your personal documents shredded Saturday
Help stop the criminals who want steal your identity, your credit and your peace of mind.
You can have documents shredded by an industrial shredder from 7 to 11 a.m. Saturday on the corner of Third and Railroad streets, next to the East Dundee Fire Station. The event is free for East Dundee residents and $1 for others.
You can shred items like credit applications, personal mail, confidential documents and all other paper documents.
Bring your material in a cardboard box or plastic grocery bag and village staff will remove the material from your car for you as you watch the industrial shredder shred your material.
Do not include metal items larger than paper clips, household garbage, electronics or computer equipment, yard waste or construction debris.
