Sky signs forward to training camp contract
The Chicago Sky has signed Brooke Queenan to a training camp contract, head coach and general manager Steven Key announced Friday.
Queenan, a 6-foot-2 forward, is a 2006 graduate of Boston College. She was named to the All-ACC Second Team her senior year and led the Eagles with 14.8 points and 8 rebounds per game.
She was selected by the Connecticut Sun in the 2006 WNBA Draft, appearing in four pre-season games. In 2007, Queenan was invited to the Seattle Storm's training camp and was waived on May 1. During the 2007-08 off-season, Queenan played overseas for Team Aris Haroglou in Greece.
