Healthy advice was appreciated by all

The skies cleared, the sun came out and once again the Hampshire-Burlington Senior Citizens Club enjoyed an afternoon of fun, food and fellowship along with a program by Drs. Dominic Ranallo and Arun Mani of The Comprehensive Family Health Center in Hampshire.

The emphasis of the program was on healthy lifestyle changes, which are easily accomplished and pay huge dividends. A healthy diet, adequate rest, eliminating unhealthy habits, more vigorous activity and reducing stress, are the means to joining the 84,000 Americans who have already celebrated their 100th birthday.

We all came away inspired to pursue the lifestyle changes which will lead to healthier, happier and longer golden years.

We sincerely appreciate Ranallo andMani taking the time to come down and share their wisdom, their knowledge and their insights.

The Hampshire-Burlington Senior Citizens Club meets the second Wednesday of every month (except June and July) at 11:30 a.m. at St. Johns Lutheran Church on French Road. For more information, call Dale at (847) 683-0904.
