Continental to end flights from Midway

Continental Airlines will cease operations in and out of Chicago's Midway International Airport by its Continental Express subsidiary as of May 31. Continental spokeswoman Julie King says employees were informed of the decision on Thursday. Continental Express offered five flights in and out of Midway daily -- two to and from Newark, N.J. and three to and from Cleveland. Passengers with tickets for the canceled service are being offered either refunds or seats on flights at O'Hare International Airport.
