Mundelein garage engulfed in flames

A garage fire started in a home on the 500 block of Pershing Ave. in Mundelein late Wednesday night, firefighters said. The garage was completely engulfed in flames, firefighter Jason Brizzelle said. Mundelein, Countryside and Libertyville fire departments responded to the scene. Officials are still trying to determine the cause of the blaze, Brizzelle said.
