It was a sad day for Marlon Perkin

Marlon Perkins would not be proud today. Why could not the police have used their Taser guns on the poor cougar?

They all have one. Twelve officers with Tasers could have taken this animal down. And then use the capture stick.

This should be put on the TV show "Animal Cops" as an example of what not to do.

They could have taken it to the zoo or released it back in the wild. Too often there is a rush to use the easy way.

To fire guns in a residential neighborhood is not good. The animal has rights too.
