Geneva

• Two unlocked, nonworking go-karts were stolen out of a yard in the 100 block of North Harrison Street between 11:30 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday, according to a police report.

Kane County

• A residence on the 35W0-99 block of Route 31 in St. Charles Township was broken into between 10:30 p.m. Saturday and 12:15 a.m. Sunday and several hundred dollars was stolen, according to a police report.

• Items valued at $2,100 were stolen from three vehicles parked on the 36W500 block of Silver Ridge in St. Charles Township between 5 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Saturday.

• Two tires were slashed on a pickup parked on the 3S500 block of Finley Road in Blackberry Township between 10:30 p.m. Friday and 6:30 a.m. Saturday. Damage was estimated at $324.

St. Charles

• Theodore J. Brubaker, 46, of 1102 Dean St., was arrested at 12:57 a.m. Friday and charged with disorderly conduct after making 12 unnecessary 911 calls, police said. According to an arrest report, Brubaker has a history of making repeated calls to 911 dispatchers and had been warned not to do so again.

• Brandon D. Byrd, 22, of 623 Gunderson Ave. Apt. 206, Carol Stream, was arrested at midnight Thursday and was charged with felony obstruction of justice and misdemeanor counts of resisting police and criminal trespass, according to an arrest report. Police said Byrd refused to provide correct identification for himself and was uncooperative with officers after visiting a property where he is banned. Also wanted on a domestic battery warrant, Byrd was taken into custody on the 2000 block of Prairie Street, police said.
