Shame on Bush for approving torture

Well, it seems our President Bush, who professes to be a man of great Christian faith, has now vetoed the bill to prevent water boarding and other forms of torture from being used by our CIA.

How Christian to allow torture by our country. It used to be the United States took the high ground; we were above such barbaric acts, we held high standards, but it now seems that our "fearless leader" wants to put us in the same club as countries who torture and do not respect basic human rights.

I remember how outraged we were at stories of the heinous treatment perpetrated by other countries on prisoners. Now those stories will be about us.

Torture is wrong , period! I am personally ashamed to be a citizen of a country with a leader who condones torture.

Shame on you. Mr. Bush. shame on you and shame on all of us for letting you get away with it.
