Meal drivers needed
The Batavia Retired Senior Volunteer Program needs volunteers to deliver meals to homebound adults aged 60 and older. The shift is about 90 minutes long. Call (630) 406-0993.
Color guard clinic slated
Children in first through ninth grades can learn basic flag techniques, dance steps and flag tosses from the St. Charles East High School color guard at a clinic Saturday. Youth musician auditions
The Fox Valley Academy of Music Performance will hold auditions for the coming season of Fox Valley Youth Symphony Orchestras and associated ensembles April 26 and 27 and May 3 and 4. Earth Day events planned
The St. Charles Park District will have an Earth Day celebration from noon to 3 p.m. April 26 at Campton Hills Park, Peck and Campton Hills roads. The event includes musical entertainment by Steven Keefe and the Family Jug Band. There also will be a Clydesdale-drawn hayride "eco-tour" of Campton Hills Park, exhibits and environmentally friendly activities. Admission is free. For more information, call (630) 513-4346.
Business expo April 30
The 15th annual Rolling Down the River Business-to-Business Expo is scheduled for noon to 6 p.m. April 30 at the Pheasant Run Mega Center, 4051 E. Main St., St. Charles. The event includes more than 200 exhibitors from across the region. Admission is free, although visitors are asked to present a business card.
