Cougars rained out, will play doubleheader today in Peoria

PEORIA -- Saturday night's Midwest League game at O'Brien Field between the Kane County Cougars and Peoria Chiefs was postponed due to rain frigid temperatures. It will be made up at 1 p.m. today as part of a doubleheader consisting of two seven-inning games.

The Cougars (8-0), off to their best start in team history and winners of the series opener against the Chiefs on Friday night, are expected to send Jamie Richmond to the mound in Game 1 and Scott Mitchinson in Game 2.
