• Police say a man banged on the door of an apartment on the 200 block of Center Street and pointed a gun at the person who opened the door. No one was injured during the incident, which happened on Friday. The victim later told police that the armed man said something in Spanish while pointing the handgun at him. The victim slammed the door, and the man with the gun ran outside and drove away in a green or blue four-door vehicle. The suspect was described as being in his mid-30s, standing about 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighing 170 pounds with black hair. He wore a brown coat.
• A teenager got out of a vehicle Friday and threw an unknown object at a fast food restaurant on the 300 block of South McLean Boulevard, police said. Employees said the suspect had been in a light blue Ford Escort with three others. The car had gone through the drive-through lane before parking. The suspect then got out and
threw an object at the restaurant, cracking a window. The suspect got back into the car, which drove off. Officers couldn't determine what type of object was used to crack the window. The suspect was described as being between 15 and 19 years old, wearing a gray jacket.
• Someone shattered the passenger's-side window of a vehicle parked in a lot on the 400 block of Shepard Drive and removed a phone charger, according to police reports. The damage and theft occurred between 7:45 p.m. and midnight Friday.
• Traffic was redirected around Randall Road and Fox Lane Saturday morning after a two-car crash sent three people to Provena St. Joseph Hospital, firefighters said. The accident happened around 8:52 a.m. Rescue crews had to cut the patients out of the vehicles.
