• Bradley University in Peoria named the following students to the spring 2007 Dean's List for achieving a minimum 3.5 grade-point average for the semester.

Arlington Heights: Cassandra M. Belter, Anne M. Hodits, Sarah E. Mosberg, Christopher J. Nowack, Jenna M. Siok and Nina R. Tiberi.

Rolling Meadows: Robert F. Andry, Christopher J. Miranda Angela M. Wilhelms and Cory A. Winkelhake.

• Kimberly A. Burdick of Arlington Heights, a junior majoring in journalism at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, was named to the spring 2007 Dean's List for having a minimum 3.4 grade point average. She is a graduate of John Hersey High School.

• Jessica L. Weinberg of Arlington Heights, a sophomore majoring in pre-business at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, was named to the spring 2007 Dean's List for having a minimum 3.4 grade point average. She is a graduate of Palatine High School.

• Colleen McNamara from Arlington Heights, a nursing major, received her bachelor's degree May 19, 2007 from Saint Mary's College, Notre Dame, Ind.

• Megan Fricano from Arlington Heights, a modern languages-Spanish major, received her bachelor's degree May 19, 2007 from Saint Mary's College, Notre Dame, Ind.

• Susan Zell, daughter of Laura and Martin Zell of Arlington Heights, received a bachelor's degree Zell graduated in psychology from Swarthmore College at the June 3, 2007 commencement in Pennsylvania. She was a member of SWIL (Swarthmore Warders of Imaginative Literature), the Amos J. Peaslee Debate Society, Knit Wits, Boy Meets Tractor sketch comedy troupe and active with the Dare 2 Soar tutoring-mentoring program. Zell is a graduate of John Hersey High School.

• Scott Winters of Arlington Heights, a student at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, Kenosha, Wis., earned academic honors during the spring 2007 semester. He was named to the Dean's List for maintaining a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

• Saint Mary's College in Notre Dame, Ind., named the following local students to the spring 2007 Dean's List for achieving a grade point average of at least 3.4 on a 4.0 scale.

Arlington Heights: Kelly Bale, daughter of Mrs. Susan Bale; Shannon Hansen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gregory P. Hansen; Mary Daday, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen G. Daday; Patricia Holohan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph P. Holohan; and Sarah Holohan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph P. Holohan.

• Benjamin Edward Monson of Arlington Heights, a student majoring in justice systems at Truman State University, Kirksville, Mo., was named to the Spring 2007 Vice President for Academic Affairs' List. To qualify, an undergraduate student must attain a 3.50 to 3.99 grade point average.

• Truman State University in Kirksville, Mo., named the following students to the spring 2007 President's List. To be eligible, a student must earn at least 12 undergraduate semester hours of credit with a perfect 4.0 grade point average.

Arlington Heights: Matthew John Carbery, pre-business administration, justice systems; and Karen Elaine Laura Miller, undeclared.

Rolling Meadows: Margaret True Darr, business administration.

• Lorraine Beth Ahrendt of Arlington Heights was awarded a master's degree from the School of Information Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee on May 20, 2007.

• Iowa State University awarded bachelor's degrees to the following students at the spring commencement ceremonies in Ames.

Arlington Heights: Rosemary L. Amore, women's studies; and Joanna Holmes Greenwood, graphic design (fine arts).

• John C. Milano of Arlington Heights was named to the spring 2007 Dean's List at Trinity Christian College in Palos Heights for earning a minimum 3.5 grade point average.

• Matthew A. Schoeck of Rolling Meadows was named to the spring 2007 Dean's List at Trinity Christian College in Palos Heights for earning a minimum 3.5 grade point average.

• Melissa Joanne Meisterheim of Arlington Heights received her doctor of philosophy degree in linguistics from the University of Iowa at the summer 2007 commencement ceremonies in Iowa City.

• Kurt Thomas Dunlop of Arlington Heights graduated with a bachelor's degree in business administration and finance from the University of Iowa at the summer 2007 commencement ceremonies in Iowa City.

• Tim Wade Rochetti of Arlington Heights graduated with a bachelor's degree in anthropology from the University of Iowa at the summer 2007 commencement ceremonies in Iowa City.

• Tyler Pagano of Arlington Heights completed his bachelor's degree in physical education: sports management, from Valparaiso University in August 2007.

• Erica Louise Rimsky, daughter of Robert and Louise Rimsky of Arlington Heights, was a candidate for a bachelor's degree in education with a major in community health from the University of Kansas in Lawrence at the end of the 2007 semester. Rimsky is graduate of Rolling Meadows High School.
