Nelson Westerberg expands westward

ELK GROVE VILLAGE -- Nelson Westerberg Inc., a global corporate relocation provider, recently acquired Lido Van and Storage, an Irvine, Calif., moving and storage company. The purchase expand its domestic operations coast to coast. Lido Van and Storage, founded in 1973, is a single-source provider of transportation and relocation services in the Southern California market. As one of the largest agents in the Atlas Van Lines network, Nelson Westerberg employs 250 people nationwide and 120 professional van operators. Lido Van and Storage operations include 16,000 square feet of warehouse space, established traffic lanes in the intrastate and military sectors in California as well as professional van operators familiar with the market.
