Biernacki named girls AD at Elk Grove

Elk Grove named Brian Biernacki as its new girls athletic director Tuesday. Biernacki is currently a math teacher and sophomore baseball coach at Buffalo Grove.

Current Elk Grove girls athletic director Jon Rowley is moving into the boys position. Rowley will replace Steve Lacni, who is leaving to become the athletic director at Hoffman Estates.

Rolling Meadows track and cross country coach Jim Voyles will be the girls athletic director at the school next year. He replaces Jim Gumz, who is retiring.
