Prairie Brass Band will perform
The Arlington Heights Community Concert Association, in partnership with District 214 Community Education, will sponsor a performance by the Prairie Brass Band, with British whistler David Morris, at 7:30 p.m. April 26 at Forest View Educational Center Theater, 2121 S. Goebbert Road, Arlington Heights.
Tickets are $20 for adults; children in grades kindergarten through 12 are free when accompanied by an adult. Individual tickets will be sold at the door, or through District 214; call (847) 718-7702.
The Prairie Brass Band uses traditional brass-band instrumentation: cornets instead of trumpets, tenor horns instead of French horns, euphoniums and baritones, E-flat and B-flat tubas, and percussion.
