Teen held without bond in rifle shooting

An 18-year-old Chicagoan is being held without bond in last week's rifle slaying of another Chicago man in the city's Back of the Yards neighborhood. Marcus Pryor appeared in bond court Sunday on first-degree murder charges in Friday's death of 23-year-old Diego Manriquez. Prosecutors said Pryor stepped out of the van in which he had been riding, approached Manriquez on the street and shot him in the head, back and foot. They said witnesses walking behind Manriquez and two others who had been playing softball at a nearby elementary school saw the shooting.
