Nation's woes fault of few rigging game
Charley Reese has been a journalist for 49 years and wrote one of the best articles on the woes of this country and those responsible.
Guess who? They are a very small number of people, but cause a very large part of things wrong with our country. They number only 545. Some are called Democrats. Some are called Republicans. Some are senators and some are representatives.
They create problems such as high taxes, inflation, deficits, fair trade agreements, illegal immigration, defense overruns. And the list goes on and on.
The most interesting thing, about this is that during an election year, they actually campaign against what they created. They criticize each other, blame each other and accomplish nothing.
They vote themselves benefits that you could only hope for. They are in office only one term and can retire with full benefits.
Over the last few decades, they have created tax laws that are so confusing that they tax money that has already been taxed. Not once, but several times. Ever wonder why you can't save money? Look at the what you pay the IRS, your state and your many local government entities.
You spend well over 50 percent in just keeping up. They have the system rigged so only they have the funds to get elected. If not them, usually a hand-picked candidate. They keep it in the "family."
If you are in the legal system, the chances of getting elected are considerable. They fashion laws for everyone but themselves. If you ever find an honest person that wants to serve his/her country -- forget it -- they are considered an outsider, definitely not worthy of such a lofty position as senator or representative.
