For $300, you can hang with the Cubs for a day

Cubs fans who would love to spend an afternoon in the outfield of the Friendly Confines and mingle with their players can now fulfill that dream- for a price.

Tickets ($300 per person) are on sale now for "Meet the Team, Have a Ball", a fund-raising event to benefit selected Cubs charities. The event will be held May 13 at 2:30 p.m. at Wrigley Field

"This has been an incredibly popular event with our fans," said Mike Lufrano, Cubs senior vice president community affairs. "It provides the unique opportunity to meet Cubs players and coaches and also to collect a rare souvenir to commemorate the 2008 season."

The annual event, presented by Bank of America, provides the opportunity for Cubs fans to walk on the outfield grass and collect autographs from 2008 Cubs players and coaches in attendance.

Tickets are available at cubs.com/tickets. Admission includes an authentic MLB baseball, ball cube and a ballpark snack.
