Lewinsky reference telling on its face?

The Associated Press article headlines, "Women backers decry those who want Clinton to quit," includes gender observances from Marie Wilson, president of the White House Project, which trains women to run for office.

The comment in the article on the behavior of Hillary's husband as a "dalliance with White House intern Monica Lewinsky" reduces all women to that of a "play thing" and continues to perpetuate the gender inequality that the White House Project so diligently works to equalize.

Washington Post Columnist Richard Cohen eloquently wrote in a Jan. 2, 2007, column referring to Lewinsky, "She is … not an adulterer, but something even worse -- a girl toy, a trivial thing, a punch line."

I might add, perhaps an abusive reference in this article.
