No matter outcome, contestant 'blessed'
Ronnie Kroell has made it to the finals in "Make Me A Supermodel."
Tonight, we'll learn Ronnie Kroell's fate: Will he become a supermodel? Or return to his life as a local college student?
Kroell, 25, who grew up in Morton Grove, is among the four finalists on tonight's finale of "Make Me A Supermodel," airing at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
Viewers voted last week, and the results will be revealed tonight. While Kroell hasn't always impressed the show's judges, his charm, boy-next-door looks and determined work ethic have wooed viewers, who have repeatedly provided enough votes to keep him in the competition.
There's no doubt many of Kroell's votes came from the Harper College community, where Kroell was once a popular student and the student senate president. He graduated in 2004 and now attends the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Kroell, communicating through e-mail and Bravo censors, writes that going into the finale, he's feeling positive and blessed to have this reality TV opportunity.
If he wins tonight, Kroell will get a $100,00 prize, a modeling contract and a spread in GQ magazine. If he doesn't win, Kroell said he won't be crushed, just disappointed.
"Thanks to my hard work, focus, and America's support, I have enjoyed this incredible journey. Being in the final four is an honor in and of itself and no matter what, I believe we will all walk away winners," he wrote. "The end of this show is not really the end, but rather the beginning of a new life for me."
