Take advantage of Cook County taxes

I have an idea for the counties surrounding Cook County. Since Cook County does not know how to handle a budget and they do know how to raise taxes, this is a plan to bury them at their own game.

I propose that the counties around Cook County lower their sales tax by, say, two cents. Taxpayers in Cook County already go to collar counties to buy their goods, this will actually increase revenue in the surrounding counties. All they need to do is prepare for the surge in their economies and the collapse of Cook County.

Palatine is already considering seceding from Cook County, a great idea, but I believe this will be the start of something big and a windfall for surrounding counties. It is just an idea, but maybe Cook will get the message.
