• Andrew Wilson of Rolling Meadows, a student in the College of Arts & Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis, was named to the Dean's List for the spring 2007 semester for earning a grade point average of 3.5 or above. Wilson is a graduate of Fremd High School in Palatine.
• Carly Berg of Arlington Heights, a student in the College of Arts & Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis, was named to the Dean's List for the spring 2007 semester for earning a grade point average of 3.5 or above. Berg is a graduate of Hersey High School.
• Courtney Miller of Arlington Heights, a student in the College of Arts & Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis, was named to the Dean's List for the spring 2007 semester for earning a grade point average of 3.5 or above. Miller is a graduate of Rolling Meadows High School.
• Casey A. Garms of Arlington Heights graduated with a bachelor's degree in sport and fitness Management from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside in Kenosha at the end of the spring 2007 semester.
• Jisit Zaveri of Arlington Heights, a pharmacy major at The University of Findlay in Ohio, was named to the spring 207 Dean's list for attaining a grade point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
• Ingrid Insine Erickson of Arlington Heights graduated April 28, 2007 with a master's degree in education from Indiana Wesleyan University, Marion, Ind.
• John Heller, a graduate of Fremd High School, Palatine, was awarded an International Engineering Scholarship to study chemical engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The award includes a $1,000 scholarship, help with round trip airfare to any study destination worldwide, and $3,000 per semester for one or two semesters abroad.
• Erik Babcock, a graduate of Fremd High School, was awarded an International Engineering Scholarship from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The award includes a $1,000 scholarship, help with round trip airfare to any study destination worldwide, and $3,000 per semester for one or two semesters abroad.
Babcock is majoring in aerospace engineering in Urbana-Champaign.
• Alex Lee, a graduate of William Fremd High School, has been awarded an International Engineering Scholarship from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The award includes a $1,000 scholarship, help with round trip airfare to any study destination worldwide, and $3,000 per semester for one or two semesters abroad. Lee is studying general engineering at Illinois.
• Justin Miller of Arlington Heights, a student at Millikin University in Decatur, is spending the spring semester working for Decatur Electronic as an intern. Miller, a commercial art/computer design major, was chosen for the internship from his scholastic record and personal interviews. To qualify, students must fulfill various course prerequisites, work with a faculty mentor to define specific educational objectives and receive approval from their department chairperson and dean. Miller is a graduate of Hersey High School.
• Karen Blaire Hoffman of Arlington Heights received a bachelor's degree May 5, 2007 from Kansas State University in Manhattan.
