Poor visibility canceling flights at O'Hare

What's worse than having a delayed flight?

Not knowing in advance your airplane will be sitting on the tarmac indefinitely.

Chicago Department of Aviation officials are warning travelers to call their airlines before leaving for the airport this afternoon because of weather problems.

O'Hare International Airport has canceled more than 400 flights because of poor visibility in the Chicago area and bad weather in several East Coast destinations.

Delays are ranging from 45 to 60 minutes.

Midway is also experiencing some cancellations and delays of about 20 minutes on certain flights.
