Froots Smoothies expands to Elgin

ELGIN -- Froots, a Florida-based gourmet smoothie chain, is opening in Elgin. The new location at 2490 Bushwood Drive, Suite D, offers a menu of healthy smoothies, juices, shakes, salads and wraps. Mark Landis owns the new Elgin franchise. Froots was started in 2002 with a focus on providing healthy, nutritious light meals and drinks to a health-conscious nation. The company now has 28 stores in 12 states as well as Ireland, and a development agreement with the United Arab Emirates.
