Young adults will have an opportunity to perform before an audience of their peers. Bands, soloists, comedians and more can bring their act to the stage. Performers must sign up by e-mailing BGArts@vbg.org, or sign up at the Buffalo Grove High School or Stevenson High School Student Activity Offices. The cost for all attendees is $5 per person; there is no charge for performers.
Attend a forum on transportation
A forum on public transportation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. April 7 at the Lake County Center for Independent Living, 377 N. Seymour in Mundelein.
The forum is open to the public, and will provide an opportunity for Lake County citizens to share their ideas and opinions about public transportation with Lake County Board members. The Center for Independent Living is accessible from Pace Bus 572, Paratransit, and from Metra North Central Service.
For those who cannot attend, written comments are welcome and should be submitted by Friday. For information about written comments or special accommodations, call Diana at (847) 949-4440, ext. 23 (voice), or (847) 949-0641 (TTY) or e-mail Diana@lccil.org.
