Obama flip flops on church issue

Is history repeating itself? In 2004, John Kerry proclaimed himself a war hero "reporting for duty," but declined to answer questions about his tours of duty in Vietnam, hoping it would go away. It didn't and the people spoke in the election.

Now Barack Obama, who proclaims himself to be the great uniter of "change," will not address significant issues with his "spiritual adviser and mentor" of over 20 years, hoping it will also go away.

Well guess what? It won't! On Friday, he said he never was in the church when Rev. Wright made any of his outrageous comments, but on Monday, he suddenly remembered that he was there and heard them. Is this the kind of indecisive person that we want to lead our nation, who does a total flip flop over a weekend?

What is wrong with these politicians? And I mean all of them from both parties. Why is it that they think the American public is incapable of understanding honest people who tell the truth?

My vote will go to the candidate who is honest, answers the tough questions that are asked and has a detailed plan to accomplish everything they promise. Is that too much to ask or expect?
