W. Aurora tops Waubonsie 7-4

West Aurora rallied for 5 runs with two outs in the top of the seventh inning to stun the Warriors (0-2) with a 7-4 win.

West Aurora totaled 6 hits with 5 coming in the seventh.

Trevor Romeo went 4 for 4 in the loss.

Hoffman Estates 2, Naperville Central 1: Hoffman Estates (1-0) scored the game-winning run in the top of the seventh inning when Matt St. John doubled with one out and scored on an infield error.

Daryl Howell was the winning pitcher in relief of St. John. Dan Griffin took the loss for Naperville Central (1-2).

Each team had 3 hits.

Lisle 4, Glenbard East 4: The game at UIC was called after seven innings because of cold.

Softball

Minooka 9, Neuqua Valley 4: Neuqua Valley (0-2) pulled within 4-3 with a 3-run third inning, but Minooka countered with 3 runs in the fifth and 2 in the sixth en route to win the nonconference game.

Lindsay Colvin went 1 for 2 with an RBI in the loss for the Wildcats.
