Ang Lee to appear at Ebertfest
Oscar-winning director Ang Lee will be back at the University of Illinois for the 10th annual Ebertfest. The event is hosted by the noted film critic and Lee's fellow Illini graduate Roger Ebert.
The film festival runs from April 23rd to the 27th and will be at the Virginia Theatre in downtown Champaign. Ebert chose 13 films for the festival.
Other film celebrities expected to attend including "The Sopranos" actor Joey Pantoliano, "Chicago Hope" actress Christine Lahti and director Paul Schrader. Last year, Ebert made his first public appearance since undergoing a surgery that left him confined to a hospital bed.
Ebert was honored with standing ovations from movie buffs and friends.
Ebert has been a film critic at the Chicago Sun-Times since 1967 and won the Pulitzer Prize in 1975.
