Fire Reserves to play 12-game schedule

The Chicago Fire Reserves will play 12 games, six home and six away, for their 2008 MLS Reserve Division schedule, team officials announced Friday.

No team will play another team more than twice under the league's format. Now entering its fourth year, the MLS Reserve Division is a key component of Major League Soccer's development program.

2008 Fire Reserve schedule

April 4: vs. New England, 10 a.m. Toyota Park

April 20: vs. Kansas City, 4:30 p.m. Toyota Park

May 9: at D.C. United, 9 a.m.

May 25: at New York, 4:30 p.m.

June 8: vs. D.C. United, 10 a.m. Toyota Park

July 6: at Columbus, 9 a.m.

July 13: vs. Toronto, 10 a.m. Toyota Park

Aug. 10: at New England, 9 a.m.

Sept. 7: vs. New York, 10 a.m. Toyota Park

Oct. 5: at Kansas City, 4:30 p.m.

Oct. 12: vs. Columbus, 4:30 p.m. Toyota Park

Oct. 18: at Toronto, 5 p.m.
