We should have known better
What did we expect from a man of Mr. Stroger's politics and ethics -- the truth?
Of course not, we all knew what would happen if Mr. Stroger were elected, but we elected him anyway.
The county payroll now stands at 23,851 employees, and Mr. Stroger vowed to keep it at 22,000. Yeah right.
Someone had to give all Mr. Stroger's friends and family a $100,000-plus job. Any openings for us common folk?
Why do we voters keep putting these people in office? Who has the poor intelligence here? We are like sheep led to slaughter.
Any purchases I make will be out of Cook County whenever I can.
