This feud is about illegal immigration
Village President Bill Sarto is trying to get Trustee Paul Humpher ousted from his elected position because of his domestic feud with his wife, asking the Kane County state's attorney and Illinois attorney general to look into the matter.
He did that without the approval of the village board. By doing so, Sarto has cost this village possibly thousands of dollars.
The charges in this domestic feud were not felonies, but misdemeanors.
It is shameful only to the couple it applies to and it does not affect village business.
Sarto worries more about misdemeanor crimes than he does about illegal immigration.
He has sided with illegal immigrants whenever the issue comes up.
I also remember reading some derogatory remarks about Sarto in the newspapers a while back.
So he who lives in a glass house should not throw stones -- they may ricochet back at him.
We all know why Sarto wants Paul Humpher and Judy Sigwalt off the board. They are a thorn in his side, especially when it comes to illegal immigration.
