Gymnasts have success at St. Charles tourney

GIJO girls gymnasts from the St. Charles Gymnastics Academy showcased their talents at the Geneva Gymnastics Invitational at Geneva High School.

The St. Charles Level 5 gymnasts won the team all-around, while the Level 6 and Level 7 gymnasts achieved their own individual success.

Individual results included: Level 5, Age 10, Group 1: Samantha Regner, third place; Level 5, Age 10, Group 2: Lucille Koczwara, first place; Level 5, Age 11, Group 1: Alexandria Spillios, first place, and Kaitlyn Enger, second place; Level 5, Age 13: Delaney Wood, first place; Sydney Stuenkel, second place; Bridgette Jankowski, third place; and Emily Hefta, fifth place.

Level 6, Age 12: Natalie Litavecz, first place; Level 6, Age 13: Kristin Sheehan, first place; Level 7 Optionals, Age 12: Brittany Whalen, second place; and Level 7 Optionals, Age 13: Alex Francioni, first place.
