Employers needed for ECC's job fair

Employers seeking to meet future employees are invited to reserve a booth at Elgin Community College's Job Fair, which will be from 5 to 8 p.m. April 8 in the Spartan Events Center at the ECC main campus, 1700 Spartan Drive, Elgin.

Employers at the event will be able to showcase their products and services, strengthen their community presence, broaden their reach and maximize their dollars.

The fee to reserve a booth is $250. The fee entitles employers to a display table, chair and a snack in the employer hospitality center. Employers are expected to provide their own tablecloth, company banner or display, giveaways, recruiting materials and employment applications.

Employers who belong to chambers of commerce in District 509 will receive a $100 discount off the fee. Reservation forms can be downloaded at www.elgin.edu/careerquest.

To date, more than 40 employers have signed up for the event. Participating employers include AT&T, Aramark, Chase Bank, City of Elgin, Comcast Cable, Grand Victoria Casino, Sherman Health, Siemens Medical Solutions Inc., Verizon Wireless and West Suburban Bank
