Bush provides some amusement
Just can't stop hooting and howling at President Bush as he toured various nations of Africa. He looked just so presidential and dignified as he shakes to the rhythms of tribal drums.
Since the president's knowledge of geography has proved to be somewhat limited, I wonder if he even knew before he got there that Benin was a nation and not some type of tropical skin rash.
I also find it unusual that Republican leaders are not using President Bush on the campaign trail to stump for congressional men and women of his own political party. "The House that Bush Built," is a slogan that has such a meaningful ring to it.
If President Bush is looking for some sort of positive legacy to come out of Africa, I suggest that he'd rather take a tour of parts of New Orleans, or better yet he should take a stroll down the streets of war-torn Baghdad to see what his real legacy will look like.
