Zacharias Sexual Abuse Center sets open house

Zacharias Sexual Abuse Center will hold an open house with the theme "From Here to Healing" from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 5 in recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month.

All of Lake County is invited to join in celebrating the courage and spirit of sexual assault survivors and their families. The center's Youth Allies CAR. (Creating A Rape-free Environment) group is organizing the event. The group has planned a day of tours, drama skits, educational discussions and an art exhibit and sale.

The purpose of the open house is to encourage individuals to take a closer look at what resources and opportunities the Zacharias Sexual Abuse Center offers, and to partner with the center in creating a safer community.
