Long Grove budget gearing April 8

A public hearing will be held 8 p.m. April 8 at the Long Grove village hall, 3110 Old McHenry Road, on next year's budget.

The budget is available for viewing online at www.longgrove.net and at the village hall between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. As of now, the budget shows about $2.74 million in income, including an estimated three months of sales tax from Menards and $2.85 million in expenses.

The budget could also include provisions for new signs throughout town and an open land manager.
