Work to limit Rt. 25 bridge access
Traffic on the Route 25 bridge over Norton Creek in St. Charles will be reduced to one lane for as many as three months while crews replace the bridge deck.
The work is tentatively scheduled to begin Monday and could last through the end of June, city officials said.
One bridge lane will be closed at a time, while a temporary traffic signal will direct drivers through the work zone. Drivers may experience delays.
The $568,000 project is being funded through the Illinois Department of Transportation.
The city is directing questions and comments to Dave Stoiser in its engineering department. He can be reached at (630) 377-4486.
