Kiwanis learn about investments

Water district to hold seminar

The Kane-DuPage Soil and Water Conservation District is sponsoring a MS4 Compliance Seminar to be held from 9 a.m. to noon April 4 at the Batavia City Hall, 100 N. Island Ave, Batavia.

A Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System permit is administered by the Illinois EPA and covers storm water in a conveyance or system of conveyances such as storm drains or road side ditches.

This half-day seminar is designed to inform municipal staff, public works officials, village boards and commission members about NPDES phase II requirements for MS4 permit holders. Some sample stormwater programs and funding ideas will be given.
