Member Lunch Meeting: The chamber will hold its Member Lunch Meeting beginning with informal networking at 11:30 a.m. April 1 at the Grove Banquets at the Schwaben Center, 301 W. Weiland Road, Buffalo Grove. The program will be the State of the Village. A buffet lunch and the program will begin at noon. The cost to attend is $17 for members and their guests and $22 for nonmembers. Guests are welcome.

Lunch & Learn Seminar: The chamber's Lunch & Learn Seminar Series will continue from noon to 1 p.m. April 2 at the chamber office. The program will be a panel discussion on "Benefits Q&A" by Margaret Osadzinski of AFLAC, Thomas Kloepfer of Kloepfer Insurance Agency and Richard Martin of Richard Martin Insurance. The workshop is free to members of the Buffalo Grove Area Chamber, $10 for others. Bring a bag lunch.

Networking Extravaganza: The Networking Extravaganza and Expo will be held from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. April 2. This 14-chamber event will be held at Sheraton Chicago Northwest Grand Ballroom, at Euclid and Rohlwing roads in Arlington Heights. Registration is $25 for members if registered by April 10 or $35 for late registrations, nonmembers and walk-ins. Admission includes an appetizer buffet and cash bar. BG Networkers: The BG Networkers will meet from 7:30 to 9 a.m. April 8 and 22 at the chamber office. Continental Breakfast will be served. Bring business cards. Guests are welcome.

Basic Training: The Buffalo Grove Area Chamber of Commerce will hold Basic Training from 8 to 9:30 a.m. April 15 at the chamber office. This meeting is for new members, new contacts of current members and current members who want to brush-up on what the chamber can do for their business. A continental breakfast will be served. Call the chamber office to attend.

Business After Hours: A Business After Hours will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. April 17 at Harris Bank, 500 N. Half Day Road, Buffalo Grove. Network with members of the Buffalo Grove and Wheeling business communities. Refreshments will be served. Bring business cards.

Home-Based Businesses: The Buffalo Grove Area Chamber's Home-Based Business Group will meet from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 24 at the chamber office. There will be a roundtable discussion on issues affecting businesses. Bring a bag lunch.

Breakfast with Hastert: The Northern Illinois Business Advocacy Coalition and the Illinois Chamber PAC invite the community to a breakfast with former Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. May 10 at the Sheraton Chicago Northwest, at Euclid and Rohlwing roads in Arlington Heights. Hastert will discuss the impact of government on business and the economy. A breakfast buffet will bc served. Admission is a $50 minimum contribution to support the efforts of NIBAC and the Chamber PAC as they advocate on behalf of the Illinois business community.
