Blessed by youthful music presentations
We have just returned from the March meeting of the Hampshire-Burlington Senior Citizens Club at St. Johns Lutheran Church on French Road. The 55 members who attended were treated to a wonderful performance by the Burlington Central High School Chorale, under the direction of Jeff Nesseth. The performance was warmly received and greatly appreciated by all members present.
This month's appearance, by the Chorale follows last month's presentation by a trio from the Central High School Orchestra. The trio consisted of Julie Smith on clarinet, Lorenza Branecki on French horn and Meghan Tommes on flute. I wish I could list the names behind all the beautiful voices in the Chorale but space limitations just do not allow it.
We are truly blessed to have musical programs of such incredible quality in our schools and we are truly grateful to Central High School, Nesseth and Jim Struyk for sharing them with us.
