Dog stolen from Naperville pet store

Naperville police are looking for a man who walked out of the Petland store at 720 N. Route 59 Friday morning with a 2-month-old Pomeranian puppy worth about $1,500.

The dog had an identifying microchip embedded underneath its skin, and the dog's theft triggered an alert by a pet-locating service.

The man is described to be between 18 and 22 years old, and about 5 feet 8 inches in height, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Naperville police at (630) 420-6666.
