Gallagher acquires Pennsylvania firm

ITASCA -- Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. on Thursday announced the acquisition of Healthcare Risk Solutions, based in Fort Washington, Penn. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Founded in 2002, Healthcare Risk is a property and casualty retail insurance broker for the medical community in the mid-Atlantic and Northeastern U.S. It specializes in insurance products for all health-care providers. Arthur J. Gallagher is based in Itasca.
