Don't sacrifice lives to cut costs
It appears that the Marine Corps finds the new "MRAP" vehicles, which would protect troops from IEDs and thus save lives, too costly and the lives of our troops too cheap.
In the past three years, hundreds of Marines have died or been disabled needlessly for lack of adequately armored vehicles.
We cannot fight this war on the cheap. If it is too costly, we should re-evaluate whether it is worth the cost in lives, as well as in vehicles and fuel. This is not how we should support our troops!
