Rachael Ray is looking for a few good cooks
The "Rachael Ray" show is looking for a few good cooks who want to pit their skills against each other for the chance to cook alongside daytime host Rachael Ray in her studio kitchen.
For its second "Hey, Can You Cook?!" competition, "Rachael Ray" is accepting video resumes of budding cooks demonstrating why they think they should be one of the five cooks chosen to come to New York for a series of culinary competitions.
The contest is open to nonprofessional cooks only.
Beginning April 28, the show will air the various challenges contestants face, with the top cooks moving on to the next round and one cook heading back home.
The final cook in the kitchen will have the opportunity to demonstrate his or her original recipe on show alongside its perky host. The recipe will also be published in Every Day With Rachael Ray magazine.
The winning cook will also receive the opportunity to participate in a training program at Le Cordon Bleu in France, including round-trip air fare and accommodations at the Millennium Hotel Paris Opera.
