AT&T unit inks $16.5 million deal

VIENNA, Va. -- The Air Force Services Agency awarded AT&T Government Solutions, a business unit of AT&T Inc., a contract worth up to $16.5 million. AT&T will build and transition the agency to a single cohesive network for all Air Force locations worldwide. The Air Force offers troop support, dining facilities, libraries and fitness centers. AT&T Government's parent company has its Midwest headquarters in Hoffman Estates.
