Charter School holds fun fair

A Family Fun Fair is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Cambridge Lakes Charter School, 900 Wester Blvd., Pingree Grove. Admission is free. Bring your friends and family for a day of fun.

At the inaugural fair, activities will include make-and-take crafts, hair art, face painting, animal magnet art, slime creations and more. The entertainment will include cheerleading, dancing, martial arts, Lollipop the Clown and many other performers.

Local vendors include Best Personalized Books, Discovery Toys, Usborne Books, Carole Peterson CDs, American Science & Surplus Products, My Child's Card, Brain Teasers, Puzzles, Tupperware, Pampered Chef, Dinner by Design, Colombian coffee, Grafton Township Food Pantry, Prime Outlets of Huntley, Culvers of Huntley, Avon apparel, Coyote Jewelry, Rainforest Jewelry, Hairdoo's, and Scrapbooking.

The games will include duck pond, basketball, golf, a cake walk, bowling, bingo, bean-bag toss, a lollipop tree and many more.

A 50/50 raffle and raffle prize table rounds out the fair. The raffle prizes include Chicago Bulls tickets. Concessions will be available for purchase.

A shuttle bus will transport families from the baseball field parking lot located next to the Cambridge Lakes Activity Center. Bring a nonperishable food item for the Grafton Township Food Pantry. Tickets are four for $1 at the door.
