Why wasn't suspect sketch printed?
Yesterday, Feb. 10, the Daily Herald ran an AP story on Page 8 saying that police released a sketch of the man thought to be the murderer of five women in the Lane Bryant store in the Tinley Park Mall. The sketch did not run with the story.
I have seen it briefly on television. Your edition of Feb. 11 also did not run the sketch.
Not doing so does not help police to apprehend the shooter in this story of interest to everyone in the Chicago Metropolitan Area. Today's prominently displayed stories on Page One on the 50th Annual Grammy Awards (with photos) and the big feature on paper or plastic were of little or no interest to me.
